The biggest news is, this is our new domain name and website. We felt that we needed a web address that more clearly identified us as an organization, not as a subdomain. So, pikespeakwatercolorsociety.org was born. We've developed new web page content as well, to try to make it easier to navigate the site and find what you are looking for.
We owe a big debt of gratitude to Dennis Palsgrove for managing the PPWS website for all these many years. Dennis is a signature member of the PPWS, and was one of the first members to join after the PPWS was founded. For as many years as the website at http://home.pcisys.net/~ppwsart/ has existed, Dennis has single-handedly done all of the work to manage and maintain that site. Much of the material on this new website came from the previous website. All of the hard work Dennis has done over the years has been without fanfare and, frankly, without proper recognition.
Dennis, this small tribute doesn't really begin to recognize you for everything you have done over the years to give the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society a presence on the internet.

PPWS Summer Show
June 11 - August 7, High Vista Fine Art Gallery, El Pueblo History Museum, 301 North Union, Pueblo, CO 81002An exhibition and sale of original works by Pikes Peak Watercolor Society Members. Juror of Acceptance, Marrianne Gunther.
This show will be limited to Pikes Peak Watercolor Society Members. If you are not a PPWS member and would like to enter the show, you may do so by joining the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society. See our membership page for details on how to enter.

June 11 - Reception - 5pm - 7pmThe opening reception was terrific, and the show looked great. There was a ribbon for People's Choice, won by Loren Yukawa for his painting, "Hey, They're Friendly!"

PPWS Signature Members Show
August to October 2010, Tri-Lakes Center for the ArtsThis show is limited to Pikes Peak Watercolor Society Members. Although it is officially titled the Signature Members Show, there will be a number of works in the show from PPWS Associate Members as well.
